🎥 Media panel
🌇 What is a media panel?
A media panel is an element that offers the ability to use text, flat (2D) videos and images within the 360 experience. It can be part of any scene in the flow editor and is portrayed as a selection of slides.
To implement a media panel, select the scene in question in the flow editor, then select Media panel from the elements board in the sidebar. Next, fill in a title and choose the type of slide you would like to add.

⚠️ All flat images and videos need to be pre-uploaded in the Media page of the scenario, before being able to link them to a media panel in a scene. Read more on the bottom of this article on how to upload media files.
If you select a flat video or an image as type of media, first you'll need to link the media file from the Media page:

Next, add a title for every single slide you add to the media panel.
When editing the media panel in the video editor, you can determine to show or hide the label and auto-open the media panel the moment all elements show up on the screen.

If clicked on the Open button in the video editor sidebar, you will be able to preview the media slides (coming soon):

When playing, your trainees will be able to interact with the media slides and see them in the center of the screen on any device, and in look-direction when using a VR headset. When trainees open the media panel, the 360 video in the background and any timer available will be paused.

📼 Uploading a flat video or image
To upload a flat video or image, open the scenario and navigate to the Media page in the top bar. Next, click the red upload button in the top right and select the type of file you'd like to upload from your device.

⚠️ Unlike 360 video files, flat videos and images can not be linked to a scene directly via the Media page, due to these files being linked to a media panel as an element within a scene, and not linked directly to a scene. Linking of flat videos and images can only be done via the flow editor, as explained earlier in this article.
