# ⬆️ Upload media to Warp Studio

You can upload different types of media to create engaging scenarios in Warp Studio, such as immersive (180°/360°) videos and photos, as well as traditional (flat) videos and images. This article explains **how to upload media into Warp Studio and what happens after uploading**.

## 🎦 Uploading media

1. Open a scenario and go to the **Media page**.
2. Click the red **Upload media** button in the top right.
3. Select the type of media you want to upload and choose the files from your device.

|| ⚠️ **Do not leave the page during upload**, as this will cancel the process.

## 👩🏻‍💻 Transcoding

After uploading a media, Warp Studio will automatically **transcode** it into optimized formats for different devices.
This may take a few minutes.
When transcoding is complete, media thumbnails will appear in the Media page.

###### ❗️Important Behaviour Notes

**180° media**
If interactive elements are placed outside the visible 180° area, a warning message will be shown.

**Immersive photo**
* Auto-transition elements do not work with Immersive photos.
* All interactive elements appear immediately when the scene starts.
* There is no timeline slider for images (unlike immersive video).
