⬆️ Upload media
You can use different types of media to create engaging VR scenarios in Warp Studio, such as: 360˚ and 180˚ videos, as well as 360˚ and 180˚ images. 📽 As part of the media panel element, you can also upload flat (2D) videos and images.
Open a scenario and navigate to the Media page. Either drag and drop the media or click on the red Upload media button located in the top right. Click the type of media you would like to upload and select the files from your device.
⚠️ Do not leave the page during uploading, as this will cancel the process.
After uploading, if it's a video file, it will take a few minutes to transcode the video into different formats. When the transcoding process is done, video thumbnails are shown.

❗️Important information:
For 180˚ media, if your interactive elements are placed of the viewable 180˚ area, a warning message will be shown.

An auto-transition element doesn't work with an image file.
For images, all interactive elements appear directly at the start of the scene. There is no slider to control when elements will appear, as it is for video files.
For 360˚ videos:
We support MP4 containers with H.264 or H.265 encoded video. For monoscopic video the aspect ratio should be 2:1 equirectangular. For stereoscopic we expect a top-bottom orientation (1:1 aspect ratio). The size limit per video file is 5GB. More information about transcoding can be found here.
For flat videos:
We support any file with an MP4 container. Advised aspect ratio is 16:9.
For flat images:
We support both JPG and PNG images.
