# 📀 Upload, link and edit media

## 💾  Supported formats

**For 360˚ videos:**
We support MP4 containers with H.264 or H.265 encoded video. For monoscopic video the aspect ratio should be 2:1 equirectangular. For stereoscopic we expect a top-bottom orientation (1:1 aspect ratio). **For flat videos:**
We support any file with an MP4 container. Advised aspect ratio is 16:9.

**For flat images:**
We support both JPG and PNG images.

## 💿 Uploading

You can use different types of media to create engaging VR scenarios in Warp Studio, such as: 
* 360˚ and 180˚ videos
* 360˚ and 180˚ images
* Flat (2D) videos and images, as part of the media panel and elements with tooltips

|| ⚠️ Do not leave the page during uploading, as this will cancel the process.


###### ❗️Important Behaviour Notes

**180° media**
If interactive elements are placed outside the visible 180° area, a warning message will be shown.

**Immersive photo**
* Auto-transition elements do not work with Immersive photos.
* All interactive elements appear immediately when the scene starts.
* There is no timeline slider for images (unlike immersive video).

## 🔗 Link videos to scenes

Once your videos have been uploaded to the Media page, there are two ways to link them to scenes:
* From the flow editor
* From the media page

When linking videos from the flow editor, select the scene you wish to link a video to. Next, either click the three dots for the scene dropdown menu and select **Link media file**, or just click the **Media** tab in the sidebar directly and then click **Link media file**.

If you link from the Media page, click on a video and select **Add a scene**. This will show a dropdown of all the scenes from the scenario flow.

## 🪄 Video editor

The video editor is the place to position all elements in the video and edit several other settings. It consists of the following sections:
* Video area
* Sidebar
* Controls
