✂️ Trim videos

🤓 Why trim your videos?

Although there are plenty of video editing tools out there, a trim feature in Warp Studio makes sure that for most creators everything can be done inside one platform. Trimming a video can be useful in the following situations:
When recording a 360˚ video, filming crews call out the scene number or other scene details before the start of the scene. This part of the video needs to be cut off to be able to use it in a VR scenario.
Sometimes you can use one part of a video in one scene and another part in another scene. In this case, the video can be duplicated and each copy trimmed according to the scene needs.
To remove trailing seconds (from a specific time) that are not needed in a video.

❓How to use the video trimmer

After uploading your videos to the Media page, you can trim your videos. To trim a video:
Open the video on the Media page
Enable the Trim video button, and
Either slide the beginning and/or end of the trimming slider, to navigate from where you’d like your video to start or where to end,

You can also let the video play, pause it where you’d like it to start or to end, and use the start or end trimming buttons.

ℹ️  You can always go back to the Media page and edit the trim of your videos.
