In this article:

  1. How to test a scenario
  2. Testing controls

To gather feedback about scenario changes before making it available for trainees, you can create a Test version of it. By testing, additional testing controls are shown for testers to easily and quickly navigate through your scenario. Scenarios can be tested both before and after the filming.

🧪 How to test a scenario

  • Open the scenario
  • Click the yellow Test button in the top right.
  • Select + New test version to create a new active test version of the scenario.
  • Invite other members than yourself to test the scenario (optional). They will receive an email invitation.

You can also test an existing test version:

  • Click the yellow Test button in the top right.
  • Select Play now to directly play that test scenario on the web. From there, you can also easily play on smartphone, tablet or VR headset.
  • Additionally, you can always add or delete members from an active test at any time.

🎛️ Testing controls

As mentioned above, scenarios can be tested both before and after the filming. If you'd like to make sure that your scenario flow is prepared for the day of filming, set the scenario for testing as described in the steps above, and test without videos:

In both cases, we show a testing panel for all testing members with all the information required to test your scenario. You can always choose to show or hide that information while testing. The panel includes:

  • Scene number, title and description.
  • Information about elements and points for certain answers.
  • The total points so far and history of scenes visited.
  • The option to quickly go back to the start scene.
  • Go back to the previous scene.
  • Search a scene and jump to it.
