🎡 Public registration link

In this article:

  1. Create a public link
  2. Share a public link

A public registration link can be used to easily share a group with a large group of users, for instance colleagues or event visitors. Through this link users can register themselves and get access to all scenarios available in that group. Playing via public link in a browser can also be anonymous, without the need to sign-in, For this feature, please contact our team.

ℹ️ Interact with the image below to learn how to create a public link for playing, or continue to the written step-by-step guide below.

Navigate to Trainees in the top menu and click the Groups tab. To create a public registration link, click the three dots 🚥 next to the Group you'd need the public link for.
Next, click Public Share Settings and enable the web link (yellow) button. Warp Studio will then generate an URL that you can copy and share.

The Public link can be anonymous or require an email in order to get access to play.
Anonymous is most useful when a scenario needs to be played on open events and for demo purposes. To have anonymous playing on browser, make sure to leave unchecked the 'Users need to register with their email address to get access' box, as shown above, in the Public share settings.
If you'd like to save the training data for further analysis and limit the access of which trainees will enter the training, check this box and optionally, setup the email domain that has access as well.

Recipients of a public registration link can visit a website with information about the scenario(s) and course(s) linked to the group. Here they can click on Play scenario ▶️  and fill in their email address, after which they will receive an invitation email with login details. In Warp Studio, a trainee will be created with the specified email address.
