💥 Integrate with LTI 1.3

Warp VR supports LTI 1.3, the latest version of the LTI standard. With an LTI 1.3 integration you can register Warp VR as a tool in your LMS once, then add any published scenario to a course as an activity - scores and completion are reported back to the LMS automatically.


1️⃣ Register Warp VR as an LTI 1.3 Tool in the LMS


This step is initiated from the LMS. Admin rights might be required, as the tool will usually be made globally available in the LMS.


Manual configuration


Take the following steps:

  • Go to Workspace settings in Warp Studio, then click on Integrations and add new LTI 1.3 integration.
  • In the LMS you'll be asked to enter the following information about the Warp VR tool:

After this step, the LMS will provide you with information that needs to be entered in your Warp Studio workspace.


  • Click Continue, then click 'fill in manually' and enter:

  • Configure anonymization and click Confirm.


Automatic configuration


Some platforms allow you to register the tool automatically by entering the Tool URL:
https://app.warp.studio/lti13/register


  • Click Add.
  • Follow the steps as instructed to set up the integration in Warp Studio.
  • In the LMS, change the name and description as desired and click Activate. Now the tool is configured! 🎉


2️⃣ Add Warp VR scenarios as content


Manual


Take the following steps:

  • In Warp Studio, go to Trainees, then click Integrations.
  • Click the integration you created in Step 1.
  • Find and copy the URL of the published scenario you want to add to your LMS.
  • In your LMS, add an External Activity with LTI.
  • Enter the URL of the scenario, and make sure the LTI 1.3 Tool configuration you added in Step 1 is selected.
  • Configure scoring/assessment.

ℹ️ For the best experience, do not launch in a pop-up.


Automatic


Take the following steps:

  • Add a new External Activity to your content, and make sure to select the Warp VR tool.
  • Click Select content.
  • After selecting the content, configure the grading so that Warp Studio can report the score to the LMS.
