💈 How do LMS & LXP integrations work?
An integration allows trainees to securely launch scenarios right from an LMS and play them on any device. Next to launching scenarios, this LMS integration also ensures that scores are being synchronized between your LMS and Warp Studio.
Warp VR supports integration through SCORM 1.2, LTI 1.1, xAPI and more advanced integrations through our own Warp VR API. ✅
SCORM and LTI integrations work via a launcher. When trainees start a VR training from their LMS (1), a simple web page that provides trainees with a code (2). This code can be used in the Warp VR app for VR headset, smartphone, tablet or in the browser, when playing on desktop (3). When a trainee has finished a scenario (4), they will go back to the launcher (5) and make sure to send their results to the LMS (6). Step 5 and 6 are only required with a SCORM integration.
When trainees open a VR scenario via an LMS, they will be sent to a launcher. The launcher gives trainees a 6-digit code to use in the Warp VR mobile apps. They can also click the Open scenario button to open the player on web. If they are on desktop, they can immediately start playing.
After trainees completed a scenario, the launcher receives and displays the final score which will be sent to the LMS.
⚠️ Important: Courses, Groups, Shared devices and playing offline are unavailable when using an LMS integration.
